Prisoners being locked in the cells,

Click, click,
Pick, pick,
Quick, quick,

Loss
The loss of a dear loved one,
Who’s been in your life for years,
Will fill your heart with sadness,
And fill your eyes with tears,
But overtime this feeling of loss,
Should somehow begin to subside,
And wait until the next time,
To emerge from where it hides.

Chances
Chances can be risky,
But this much I know is true,
If the odds are clearly against us,
It’s foolish to pursue,
But though odds aren’t in our favor,
Without chances we are through,
And I would like to have the chance,
To have a chance with you.

There'll Never Be Another You
We fell in love at first sight,
When we were in high school,
And we wanted to be married,
But it went against the rules,
So I took you home,
To meet my Dad,
And five years later,
We were finally wed,
And through the years,
We laughed and cried,
And worked through problems,
To the other side,
But yesterday you had to leave,
And I had to stay behind,
Now I am waiting patiently,
Until it is my time,
And if the truth were ever told,
I swear this much is true,
In my heart there'll never be,
Anyone else like you.

Trail Of Tears
You can envision the losses,
On every single day,
And if you are not religious,
The experience will make you pray,
For you will come face to face,
With every doubt and fear,
If you decide to take the pathway,
Leading to the trail of tears.

Knothead
Knothead had quite a few knots,
On the back and sides of his head,
And when the barber cut his hair,
He’d cut the knots instead,
So Knothead bought tiny traffic cones,
And taped them to his crown,
Now the barber knows where to cut,
And when to go around.

The Silencer
The silencer muffled the gunfire,
On this silent night,
And three victims fell to the ground,
Who moments before were upright,
And a blind man heard the squeal of tires,
As the assassin sped away,
And only silent was the night,
Where three dead bodies lay.

Grass Is Greener
They called him “Grass Is Greener”,
He didn’t appreciate what he had,
Always looking for something better,
The doctor said it drove him mad,
Now old “Grass Is Greener”,
Is on the other side,
And I pray the grass is greener,
For the first time in his life.
